The summer program is a two-week long program covering a different topic every day. We teach the children about police, fire, bus, train, traffic, bicycle, and poison safety. The facility has pedal cars, which the children ride while learning about hand signals, traffic signs and signals, and even railroad crossing gates. We also offer an opportunity to learn how to exit a home safely in case of smoke and fire.

The curriculum includes hands-on experiences, teaching aides with videos, books, projects and take home information on each subject. Each day the children review what they learned the previous day to reinforce the information. It is our hope through this training that lives will be saved because of the information and practical experiences learned at such an early age. Parents have already told us that the children remind them to buckle up and look both ways before crossing streets.
